RELATIONAL
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength…love your neighbor as yourself."
Relational Care at University Heights
We know how difficult it can be to find that special place within a church body. Even though we’re surrounded by others in a church service, it can feel like a lonely place at times. Relational Care was created to foster encouragement and support so we can build long lasting relationships and feel more connected. We want to know who you are…and how you are. We want to participate in your life and come alongside you as you strive to learn more about Jesus Christ and reflect His light to your community. Here are just a few of the resources we offer at University Heights:
Guests
When you visit University Heights, prepare to be greeted with a big smile as you walk through the door. We’re glad you’re with us. Our Connections center is available and staffed for any questions you may have. We’re here for you! Be sure to fill out a Connect Card so we can know who you are and reach out.
New Here?
If you’re new to our body, we’re so happy you’ve made the decision to join our community of believers. We love the idea of integrating solid biblical teaching with healthy relational and emotional practices. We believe that biblical knowledge and relational and emotional growth go together but are two different areas. A person can have a vast amount of biblical knowledge and still lack the relational skills needed to communicate and cultivate people who make Jesus known. At University Heights, we understand the value of being in close touch with each other. It’s more than just attending a church service – it’s that feeling of belonging to a family so we can have the support we need to serve others in our community and in the world. We hope you’ll make the decision to join a small group and become involved in some of the events and outreach programs we offer. Let’s get to know each other, learn, and serve together!
